Aircraft Research and References

SANDY AIR is specialized in the research of aircraft losses during World War II, especially those losses in and over waters. By undertaking years of research we have been able to produce an extensive catalogue of numerous losses of military planes in waters for the entire European front and the Mediterranean areas of combat.

The priority for our research is on fighter aircraft, especially those from the German Luftwaffe. But we also have available a deep catalogue of information concerning Allied fighter planes, as well as other aircraft types:
e.g.:
- German: Me-109, FW-190, Ju-87, Ju-88, Ju-52, Me-110, Me-323
- American: P-38 Lightning, P-40 Kittyhawk, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang, B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator
- British: Spitfire, Hurricane, Blackburn-Skua, Blenheim, Hampden, Beaufighter
Additionally there are single finds of other types.

SANDY AIR is able to offer to prospective customers the recovery of each desired aircraft-type, as we already have possesion of the necessary information to undertake such missions.
We can provide additional research for an interested party that already has information concerning a special case and intends to undertake a recovery.

Moreover we can provide professional historical research for other topics.
