Me 109 G-14 "Rote 3 Schlawiener" 11./JG 300

Me 109 G-14 "Schlawiener" was flown by Lt. Trabert of the JG 300. Approximately 40% of this aircraft consists of original German WWII Messerschmitt spares. The aircraft was painted following the camo pattern of Trabert´s aircraft of which pictures still exist. SANDY AIR CORP. is responsible for the restoration of this interesting aircraft! It is now on display in the National WWII Museum of the USA: The D-Day Museum in New Orleans, LA.
